Thanksgiving Together is a beautiful, Charlotte Mason-inspired curriculum that brings the historical Thanksgiving story to life in a way that engages the whole family. Designed as a four-lesson series leading up to Thanksgiving, this 120+ page study offers an opportunity to connect, reflect, and deepen your family’s understanding of this meaningful holiday.

Through Scripture, poetry, picture study, and hands-on projects, your family will explore the themes of gratitude, thankfulness, praise, and love. Each lesson invites children and adults alike to reflect on Scripture, poetry, and prayer, also while reading engaging read aloud stories about the Pilgrims’ voyage through The Thanksgiving Story and the classic An Old-Fashioned Thanksgiving by Louisa May Alcott. The curriculum includes suggested narration exercises to foster comprehension and expression, along with a rich selection of picture books to captivate your readers.

The four lessons can each be done over the course of one day or one week. Thanksgiving Together has suggested readings for literature & history, optional art and nature craft activities, all which create a meaningful and flexible resource for celebrating the season. With a blend of Bible passages, hymns, poems, prayers, art, recipes, optional art & nature activities, and engaging literature and a sprinkle of geography, this guide aims to deepen your family’s connection to our American heritage and to foster a spirit of thankfulness and praise.
